Siddique, John

Siddique is the author of The Prize (Rialto), Poems from a Northern Soul, editor of Transparency (both Crocus Books) and co-author of Four Fathers (ROUTE.) His children’s book Don’t Wear it on Your Head (Peepal Tree) was shortlisted for the CLPE Poetry Award. He gives readings, mentors and teaches creative writing in the UK and abroad.

Silliman is the author and editor of 24 books including Xing (Small Press Distribution 2004), Tjanting (Salt Publications 2002), N/O (Roof Books 2001), The new sentence (Roof Books 1987) and In the American tree (National Poetry Foundation 1986). He was a 2002 fellow of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

Silva lives in New York, where she teaches at The Spence School. Her poetry has been published in Podium and The Mom Egg, and she received the inaugural 2010 Rachel Wetzsteon memorial prize at the 92nd St Y Unterberg Poetry Center.
