Mouré, Erín

Erín is a Montreal-based poet whose most recent book O Cidadán was a finalist for the Governor General's Award; Little Theatres will appear in 2005 from Anansi in Toronto. A longer excerpt from her translation into English of Chus Pato's m-Talá is available from Nomados Press (2003).

Mouré has won a Governor General's Award for Poetry, The Pat Lowther Memorial Award, a QSPELL and National Magazine Award for Poetry. Born in Calgary, Alberta, she works as a translator and editor in Montreal. Her books include Sheep's Vigil by a Fervent Person, A Frame of the Book, Domestic Fuel, Furious and Search Procedures.

Murari has written novels, non-fiction, screenplays and stage plays. The Square Circle made Time magazine's top 10 best films. He adapted and directed it at the Leicester Haymarket Theatre. His novels include the international best-seller Taj (reissued by Penguin India in 2004), Steps from Paradise (Coronet Books 1996) and My Temporary Son (Penguin India 2005).

Murphy, Jennifer

Jennifer has been published in A Gathering of the Tribes Magazine: Issue 10, Inkwell Magazine, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, Jack Magazine, Tattoo Nation, and the anthology Bum Rush the Page: A Def Poetry Jam (2001). She received a writing fellowship from the New York Annenberg Foundation and partial scholarship to the Vermont Studio Center. Her first volume of poetry will be published by Fly by Night Press in 2005.

She performed at the 1999 Brisbane Writers Festival and was in residence at the Arvon Foundation for a week in 2000.
