Machado lives in Bangalore, India. Her poetry has appeared in publications such as iota, The Chimaera, Umbrella and Fuselit.

Mack, Sheree

Mack is the creator and coordinator of identity on tyne, the only group in the North-East providing a space exclusively for writers of colour. She is completing her PhD at University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, focusing on black British women poets. Her collection Family Album is due out in 2008.

Mackenzie, Rob A

Mackenzie lives in Edinburgh with his wife and daughter. His chapbook, The Clown of Natural Sorrow, was published in 2005 by HappenStance press and he had a poem commended in the UK National Poetry Competition 2005.

Mackie, Jeffrey

Mackie’s work was included in 100 Poets Against The War (Salt Publishing 2003). His latest chapbook is Graffiti Scripture. His work has been translated and published in Croatia.

Madec, Mary

Madec was educated at NUI, Galway, and the University of Pennsylvania, where she took a PhD. She directs the Villanova University Centre at NUI. In 2007 she was chosen for the Poetry Ireland Introductions. In 2008 she won the Hennessy Award for Emerging Poetry. Last autumn she started a community writing project, Away with Words, for people with intellectual disabilities.

Mahagin's poems and stories appear in Juked, 42opus, Exquisite Corpse, Stirring, Absinthe Literary Review, Night Train, Storyglossia, and Smokelong Quarterly. Dennis is also an editor of fiction and poetry at FRiGG Magazine.

Majumdar, Anuradha

Majumdar is the author of Refugees from Paradise (Penguin India). She has also published short stories, poetry and for children. She lives in Auroville, India.

Makhauri, Beslan

Beslan spent eight years as a cameraman at the independent TV station 'Dawn' in Grozny, where he filmed the bombardment and hardship of the First Chechen War (1994-96). He left Grozny during the Second War in 1999 when the studio was bombed and his camera confiscated by Russian troops. He currently works for the independent radio station 'Imedi' in Tblisi, Geirgia.
