Babson is a founding editor of Vernacular, an international women's literary journal. She is the first curator of literature for the Russian Museum of Contemporary Art. Her work has recently appeared in Barrow Street, Connecticut Review, Sow's Ear and the Atlanta Review.

Bachinsky, Elizabeth

Bachinsky was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and grew up in British Columbia and the Yukon. She published her first book of poems, Curio: Grotesques and Satires from the Electronic Age in 2005. In 2006, her second collection, Home of Sudden Service, was nominated for The Governor General's Award. She lives in the suburbs of Vancouver, where she is the poetry editor for Event magazine.
